There are many other transitions in life that have not been traditionally marked, but are equally deserving of ritual, ceremony or celebration.

Such transitions may include ‘coming out’, completing gender transition and renaming, divorce, miscarriage or still birth, a significant anniversary or movement between homes or communities.
